The API 653 Prep Course

The 653 class focuses on the API 575, 650, 651, 652 and 653 documents and ASME Section IX as they are typically harder for individuals to figure out where to go in the Codes and what the Code's intent is. The last 12 hours are spent reviewing the API documents and working the Mock Exam.

API 653 is the odd ball of the inspection Codes due to the longer intervals between internal inspections and the typical large volume of hazardous products and as such requires extensive explanation of the Code's intent. Again, we prefer the evening classes for the material to soak in and you to understand the logic behind it. The week crash is fast paced and individuals need to be familiar with the documents prior to the first day of class.
