The 570 preparatory class can be done as a self-study or a class room taught class.  As always the student only gets out of the classes what they put into it.  Either way there is additional study required; however, the class room environment does tend to be more informative with the additional lecture, explanation of the Code's intent and questions from the participants.

With the one week prep class it is strongly recommended to have read all of the API and pertinent ASME documents (see the Publication Effectivity Sheet) prior to the first day of class.  The class will be fast paced to cover all of the necessary material and having read the documents prior will better prepare our retention of the class material.

The 570 evening preparatory class will be held on Tuesday/Thursdays in Deer Park / La Porte area.  We will also offer a six-day crash course; please refer to the Preparatory Class Application from the class dates, times and options.

DTM Enterprises provides a Study Guide to enrolled students for an additional $75.00.  The Self Study material includes the .Study guide and a cd of the Power Point presentations, along with the quizzes and three mock exams and can be purchased for $495.00.
